| An import permit is not required for the following
classes of goods:- Goods, being household or personal effects (other than motor vehicles and arms and ammunition), imported by a person who arrives or who has arrived in Botswana for a temporary period or to settle therein if the said person has used such goods prior to their importation. Goods(other than motor vehicles and arms and ammunition), the property
of a Botswana Resident returning to Botswana after an absence of
not less than 48hours and required for his personal effects not
coming within the above exemptions. Forms of application for import
permits may be obtained from the Director of Commerce and Consumer
Affairs, Private Bag 00252, Gaborone, Botswana. |
